with a win downing the G-Stars, 61-51, last Saturday at the Gilbert C.
Ada Gym.
The Hoopaholics allowed the G-Stars to score only 31 points in the first
three quarters to cruise to an easy victory.
The G-Stars, who are composed of players in the MISA High School Basketball
League, struggled offensively and scored only 10 points in the first quarter,
which ended with the Hoopaholics leading by four, 14-10.
The Hoopaholics kept the drivers seat at halftime, 25-21, with Rob
Coldeen and Ray Deleon Guerrero hitting their marks.
The Hoopaholics began pulling away in the second half as Ben Sablan joined
the scoring spree and Coldeen continued to connect on his shots in the
third period.
Entering the final canto, the Hoopaholics were up by 15, 46-31, as the
G-Stars had another 10-point production in the third period.
The G-Stars never recovered from thereon.
Sablan, Coldeen and Deleon Guerrero scored 12 points apiece, while Mel
Manibusan drilled 10 markers.
Manibusans presence on the paint forced the G-Stars to have second

their shots in midair.
With a struggling offense, only Jose Tumaquip scored in double figures
for the G-Stars with 12 points.
