Revised SLLB games this weekend

ORGANIZERS of the 2007 Saipan Little League Baseball tournament have released a new schedule of games this weekend at the Francisco “Tan Ko” Palacios Ballfield.
On Saturday, the Hustlers play the Fielders at 9 a.m. in the Juniors.
Two games in the Big League will be played on Saturday with the Fielders battling the Northern Angels at 12 noon and the Aztecs meeting the Hustlers at 3 p.m.
On Sunday, the Fielders take on the Aztecs at 9 a..m. for the Big League match, while the Hustlers square off with the Angels at 3 p.m.
The lone game in the Juniors will feature the Fielders challenging the Pirates at 12 noon.

San Jose Fiesta-Tinian Sportsfest

In celebration of the Annual San Jose Fiesta on May 4 and 5, the San Jose Fiesta Sports Committee will be holding competitions in men’s and women’s volleyball, softball and tennis and men’s basketball.
Players/teams interested to join the tournaments must inform committee chair Principia C. Monkeya on or before April 4.

NMI women’s fast-pitch softball tryout tonight

The second of a series of tryouts for the CNMI Women’s Fast-pitch Softball team will be held tonight at 6 p.m. at the Miguel “Tan Ge’ Basa Pangelinan Ballfield.
Players who will be selected will represent the island to the Oceania Softball Confederation North Pacific Championship this year on Guam.
The tryouts are open to players in the 15-and-above age group, CNMI or US citizens or residents of the island for five or more years.
