THE 2007 Huegon Manamko got under way at the Mangilao Community Center yesterday as Senior Citizens from all over the island came to compete. Huegon Manamko which translate to Senior Games or Senior Olympics showcased twelve centers including; Agana Heights, Agat, Astumbo, Dededo, Inarajan, Mangilao, Merizo, Santa Rita, Sinajana, Tamuning, Yigo, and Yona/Talafofo.
The Olympics had nine games including: Ball Shuttle, Tangan Tangan, Ring Toss, Rice Bag Throw, Over Under, Golf Putt, 800ft. Relay, Basketball Free Throw, and Karer ån Galaide. This all day event showcased exactly what these athletes could do.
Agat would take a the most gold home winning in the Tangan Tangan, 800ft. Walk and the Karer ån Galaide. Yona/Talafofo would take the second most home winning the Ball Shuttle and the Ring Toss.
