I AM a former resident of Saipan and read the Marianas Variety everyday on my computer and am amazed at the continuous merry go round of the CNMI government being broke.
How come Nevada with a population of 1,998,000 has part-time legislators vs. that of the CNMI with a population of approximately 75,000 with relatively high-paid members (and don’t forget the $5,000 per month special allowance for Rota and Tinian members)?
