THIEVES broke in through a
window in a day care center in Koblerville and stole about 100 feet of
copper wire.
It is the first copper wire theft reported to the police since April 9.
Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Lei Ogumoro said the incident
happened at Little Angels Day Care.
The suspects broke in through a window and cut about 100 feet of copper
wire from the kitchen, living room and two other rooms.
DPS said the day care center was last secured on Wednesday at 5:45 p.m.
Another theft incident in Koblerville was reported to the police on Saturday
night.
Romeo T. Guevarra came to DPS on Saturday at 1:42 p.m. and reported that
a box containing assorted tools with an estimated value of $1,500 was
stolen from his residence in Koblerville.
Guevarra said the tools were last seen on April 21, 2007.
DPS urges anyone having information about any of these crimes to call
Crime Stoppers at 234-7272. All calls are kept anonymous and no caller
ID is used. A reward of up to $1,000 is given for any information leading
to an arrest.
