A MAN was injured when he was stabbed in the arm while trying to break up a fight between friends on Saturday in Chalan Kanoa.
Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Lei Ogumoro said the incident was reported to the police at 10:47 p.m. on April 28.
Ogumoro said the victim sustained a stab wound to the left arm and was treated for a two-inch puncture wound.
Preliminary investigation disclosed that the victim was trying to stops a fight that broke out between his friends.
DPS said the suspect has yet to be apprehended by the authorities.
The suspect fled immediately after attacking the victim who was rushed to the Commonwealth Health Center for treatment and was released later.
