By Roselyn B. Monroyo
Variety News Staff

LES Hustlers dropped their last match in the 2007 Budweiser SBA Open 8-Ball League, but this did not prevent them from winning the championship in the 14-team field.
Les Hustlers bowed to Ysabel Leche Tent, 3-4, in the last game of the season on April 24 to finish with a 70-21 record.
Bud’s All In Boys won its last game downing Vince Bwibwiis, 5-2, but the former ended the season with only 65 wins and 26 losses. Had the Bud’s All In Boys swept Vince Bwibwiis and Les Hustlers lost by a big margin, it might have been a different story.
Les Hustlers held the 8-ball lead throughout the 13 weeks of the tournament to claim the championship.
In other results,
USSP Wat-ever nipped the Wild Wild West, 4-3, Porky’s Toka Hao clipped the VFW Warriors I, 4-3, the Bud’s Predators beat Vince Amigos, 6-1, Krystal Perfect Spotters defeated the VFW Warriors II, 5-2 and USSP Fotten Palau topped The Godfather’s.
With the win, USSP Wat-ever finished third in the tournament with a 58-33 record.
Completing the top five were the Krystal Perfect Spotters with a 49-42 slate and The Godfather’s. with a 46-45 record.

USSP Fotten Palau was in 11th place with a 36-55 record, followed by VFW Warriors II, (35-56), Ysabel Leche Tent (31-53) and Vince Amigos (27-57).
