THREE men were arrested early this week by the Guam Police Department’s Dededo precinct officers for allegedly altering a police clearance, according to GPD public information officer Allan Guzman.
Sam Sam, 24, Ludean Katta, 25, and George Sam, 26, all of Dededo, were arrested and charged with forgery, conspiracy to commit forgery, tampering with government records to deceive or conceal, and guilt established by complicity.
Guzman told Variety that the three attempted to alter their police clearance at a photocopy room. The three were booked and released.
Sexual assault
Police officers arrested a 39-year-old Toto man for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl for the past eight years.
Banthino Luiso Raymond was booked and confined on charges of assault as a first-degree criminal sexual conduct, and family violence.
“A 19-year-old girl reported that a male…assaulted her as far back as when she was 11 years old. It escalated to the point that she was being physically assaulted,” GPD’s Guzman said.
Child abuse cases
Jerome James Sablan Aguon, 21, of Agana Heights, was booked and confined on three counts of child abuse and family violence.
According to Guzman, a local daycare reported to police about children having signs of physical abuse. Through further investigation, police determined that Aguon assaulted the children.
Meanwhile, a motorist found a two-year-old boy at 1 p.m. Wednesday crying while walking around an area in Dededo. The passerby picked up the child and tried to locate his residence.
“The child was then (turned over) to Dededo precinct officials. The parents showed up at the precinct and informed officers that a relative was to watch the child,” Guzman said.
Police were able to arrest Kyle Bliase Aldan, 19, of Dededo, and charged him with child abuse. He was booked and released.
Theft arrest
Police arrested Pete Paul Pangelinan, 42, of Mangilao, and charged him with criminal mischief and theft of property.
On Feb. 25, Pangelinan broke into a Nissan Xterra in the parking lot of the Mong Mong Church and stole a purse containing miscellaneous items including a digital camera and credit cards, according to Guzman.
“It was later discovered that the stolen cards were being used by the thief later identified to be Pangelinan who is on probation. Police found and arrested him at the probation office while he was in a meeting with his probation officers,” said Guzman.
