Asian Spirit
is reducing its flight to Davao to once a week and instead will start
flying to Cebu six times a day starting on May 4.
According to the airlines new flight schedule, Asian Spirit will
leave Koror to Cebu and Manila on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Flight from Manila to Cebu then Koror is scheduled on Sundays, Tuesdays
and Fridays
The flight to Davao is scheduled every Wednesday and had been changed
to a daytime flight of 9:45 a.m.
Earlier Asian Spirit management said that the Cebu flight will fare better
than the Davao flight.
Cebu is considered an international hub compared to Davao.
The Cebu flight targets tourists to come to Palau from other destinations
in the world.
Several international flights use Cebu as a connection point to the Philippines.
Airline executives said that the Cebu destination will move faster than
the Davao market.
He said Cebu is a known hub for tourists and businessmen from different
parts of the world.
Cebu is the second most metropolitan center in the Philippines and it
is also home to several of the countrys interisland shipping companies.
Cebu, outside of Manila is a main hub of international flights to the
Philippines.
Air fare to Koror via Cebu to Manila will cost $307.
The airline is also planning of expanding its route to Federated States
of Micronesia.
Asian Spirit earlier said that Yap has a lot of tourism potential and
AsianSpirit could provide a reasonable air fare and at thesame time travel
to that part of Micronesia coming from Palau will be faster.
