THE second and final week of competition in the inaugural Loyola Sports Tennis will take place this Saturday on the Fiesta Resort & Spa’s tennis court.
Tomorrow’s competition will feature adult players, who are taking tennis classes under Peter Loyola.
Loyola said about 10 players will be competing in the adult division, including Lydia Tan, Melanie Daly, Stefanie Hart and Hong Chao Chen.
Trophies await the top three finishers in the adult division.
Last week, Loyola held competitions in the 9-and-under and 10-and-up divisions.
Luther Lizama topped the 9-and-under division, while Evzen Pabellon and Tomo Hatamata finished second and third, respectively.
Lica Ishida ruled the 10-and-up division, while Francesca Lee placed second. The third place award went to Sky Iisuka.
The top three placers in the 9-and-under and 10-and-up divisions received medals.
Meanwhile, Loyola thanked reigning Little Ms. CNMI Opal Northen and her family, the Hong Family and Arvin Hubalde for supporting the tournament.
Loyola said he was happy with the turnout in the first week of the tournament and is hoping for an even bigger one next year.
