THE second and
final week of competition in the inaugural Loyola Sports Tennis will take
place this Saturday on the Fiesta Resort & Spas tennis court.
Tomorrows competition will feature adult players, who are taking
tennis classes under Peter Loyola.
Loyola said about 10 players will be competing in the adult division,
including Lydia Tan, Melanie Daly, Stefanie Hart and Hong Chao Chen.
Trophies await the top three finishers in the adult division.
Last week, Loyola held competitions in the 9-and-under and 10-and-up divisions.
Luther Lizama topped the 9-and-under division, while Evzen Pabellon and
Tomo Hatamata finished second and third, respectively.
Lica Ishida ruled the 10-and-up division, while Francesca Lee placed second.
The third place award went to Sky Iisuka.
The top three placers in the 9-and-under and 10-and-up divisions received
medals.
Meanwhile, Loyola thanked reigning Little Ms. CNMI Opal Northen and her
family, the Hong Family and Arvin Hubalde for supporting the tournament.
Loyola said he was happy with the turnout in the first week of the tournament
and is hoping for an even bigger one next year.
