ACTING Gov. Michael W. Cruz swore in three new officers to the Department of Corrections last week in Adelup. Sworn in were Jason San Nicolas, Joaquin Cruz Jr. and Vince Aguon.
“We’re very proud of these men for their commitment to public safety,’” Cruz said in a statement. “The administration continues to prioritize public safety agencies, including hiring the law enforcement officers we need to keep our community safe.’”
The administration stands fast that they have hired and promoted hundreds of law enforcement officers. A statement from the administration stated they have spent millions of dollars for public safety needs since Gov. Felix P. Camacho took office.
“In the past month alone, new customs officers took their oath, the Northern Police and Fire precincts were opened, and a new Fire Rescue Boat was commissioned,” the statement read.
