MRA meeting May 8

THE Marianas Racing Association board is calling on MRA members to attend a meeting tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at the residence of Melvin and Eleanor Cepeda in As Lito.
MRA will be discussing the upcoming 2007 Marianas Motocross Championship in the meeting.All members are encouraged to attend, while interested individuals are also welcome.

All Schools trackfest meeting tomorrow

NORTHERN Marianas Athletics is calling on coaches of the participating schools in the 2007 McDonald’s All Schools Track and Field Championships to attend a meeting tomorrow at 4 p.m. in Gilbert C. Ada Gym’s conference room.
The final results of the qualifying trials and entries in the All School meet will be discussed in the meeting.
The All Schools meet will be held this Saturday at the Oleai Sports Complex track and field facility.

San Roque Parish golf tournament May 27

The 13th Annual San Roque Parish Golf Tournament will be held on May 27 at the Marianas Country Club in Marpi.
The annual golfest will be having competitions in six flights, namely the Championship Flight, A, B,C, Ladies and Seniors.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to the improvement of the parish social hall.

Trench Warz 6 at Ada Gym

The Trench Warz 6 dubbed as “Mass Destruction” will be held on June 23 at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym.
The event will feature Frank “The Crank” Camacho, Jason ‘Rush” Tarkong, Slade “The Rage” Adelbai and Kelvin “The Big Hit” Fitial.
Tickets are sold for $20 for general admission and $40 for VIPs.

Eskuelan San Francisco de Borja golf fundraiser June 30

THE Eskuelan San Francisco de Borja of Rota will be holding a golf fundraising tournament on June 30 on the west course of the LaoLao Bay Golf Resort.
Proceeds from the tournament will be used for operating expenses of the Songsong-based school.
The entrance fee is $120. The tee-off time is set for 7:30 a.m, while the check-in time is at 6 a.m. The tournament format is double peoria.
