By Gina Tabonares
Variety News Staff

THE criminal trial setting of Joseph Nego scheduled yesterday morning will be continued.
Nego, one of the 10 former employees of A.B. Won Pat International Airport implicated in a parking scam, is scheduled for a trial setting on June 9 at 9 a.m. at Judge Arthur Barcinas’s courtroom.
Other similar theft charges and official misconduct are ongoing after airport investigation showed that some employees were making deals with tour bus operators and pocketed more than $50,000 since 2001.
Gerald Cabana was demoted while Nego, Michael Gerard Cruz, Glenn Fernandez, Kenneth Terrell, Jerald Ojeda Javier and Jolene Bucao were fired.
Eugene Toves, Joseph T. Quinata and Rolando Jose immediately resigned.
The workers reportedly accepted cash in exchange for reduced parking rates for tour bus companies.
In other news, the trial setting of Kevin Michael Jackson, the USS Frank Cable crew who was arrested and charged in December in connection with the death of bicyclist Raymond Someros Oberiano, will continue on May 30 in the courtroom of Judge Arthur Barcinas.
