A MAN who is taking a break-up
too hard was charged with terrorizing as a third-degree felony and family
violence as a misdemeanor after he allegedly physically abused and threatened
his ex-girlfriend on numerous occasions.
Manuel Acfalle Angoco, 39, has a preliminary hearing in the Superior Court
on Monday at 4 p.m. in front of Judge Alberto Lamorena.
According to magistrate documents, police were investigating on April
30 a a report about domestic violence after responding to a complaint
of vandalism and arson to a vehicle two weeks earlier.
Angoco, according to documents, was identified by police as the prime
suspect in this case.
The relationship was short of about a month, documents stated.
The complaining party (ex-girlfriend) allowed Angoco to live with
her for a short time but he started showing violent tendencies, especially
after drinking. In the first incident, he grabbed her by the hair and
pulled her into the bedroom.
The documents further stated that the woman avoided arguments with Angoco
out of concern for her and her childrens safety. Angoco would also
make such threats to her in front of her children.
Angoco and the woman have been separated for a month, after a bitter break
up, according to documents.
She said she feared for herself and her children as Angoco allegedly has
been telling people that he would smash her face or call her cell
phone and tell her she was about to get stabbed.
