By Nazario Rodriguez Jr.
Horizon news staff

The Palau Red Cross Society will send five students to Japan on an all-expense paid trip sponsored by the Japan Red Cross Society.
The five students will be selected from six schools, one either from Mindszenty and Bethania, and one each from Ibobang, Palau High School, Palau Mission Academy and Emmaus.
Two staffers from PRCS will accompany the students (9th-10th Grade), who must have academic standings, able to interpret both English and Palauan languages.
The candidates must also have a quality of a good leader in school to become PRCS’s point of contact in school.
The students must not have been suspended and should be recommended by the school principal and teacher.
After the trip, Japanese students will come to Palau to observe the work of the PRCS.
