3-on-3 soccer at PIC

A 3-on-3 soccer tournament will be held this Saturday at Pacific Island Club’s Field.
The entrance fee is $10 per person with registration starting at 9 a.m. Games will start at 10 a.m.
Players will be divided into three divisions, namely advanced, intermediate and beginner.
The tournament is open to players in the 14-and-aboe age group.


Masters baseball meeting tonight

Players interested to represent the NMI in the 2007 Pacific Islanders Masters Baseball Championship on Guam are invited to attend a meeting tonight at 6 p.m. at the Ada Gym pavilion.
The tournament will run from June 2 to June 9 at the Paseo Stadium with teams from Gam, Australia and others in Micronesia battling for the championships.
The tournament is open to 40-and-above players.

Teams told to prepare for Bud Cup


TEAMS interested to participate in the 2007 Budweiser caging are told to prepare for the annual tournament, which organizers are hoping to open in July.
Basketball Association of Northern Marianas Islands’ Abner Venus said they are looking to have 10 teams in the Bud Cup.
He added that it is an Open tournament.
No free uniforms will be provided, but the entrance fee will be lowered.
