THE Public School System will
promote 775 students to the intermediate and secondary levels this school
year.
According to data provided by 10 elementary schools, 659 sixth graders
will be promoted to junior high school while 116 fifth graders from two
elementary schools will be promoted to sixth grade:
Garapan Elementary School will promote 112 sixth graders on June
6.
San Vicente Elementary, 106 sixth grade students, June 1.
William S. Reyes Elementary, 90, June 5.
Dandan Elementary, 76, May 26.
Koblerville Elementary, 60, May 26.
Oleai Elementary, 58, May 24.
Tinian Elementary, 50, May 31.
Tanapag Elementary, 31, June 5.
San Antonio Elementary, 48, May 24.
Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary, 28, May 24.
Kagman Elementary has 70 fifth graders who will be promoted to sixth grade,
while Sinapalo Elementary in Rota will promote 46 fifth graders.
Sinapalo has scheduled its promotional ceremony on May 29, while Kagman
Elementary will hold its on June 2.
PSS is expected to accommodate nearly 700 new students next school year
as 695 kindergarten students are expected to be promoted to first grade.
William S. Reyes Elementary will have the most kindergarten students promoted
to first grade 106.
Garapan Elementary has 86; San Vicente, 80; Kagman Elementary, 70; Dandan,
62; Oleai, 58; Tinian, 41; San Antonio, Koblerville, and Tanapag have
40 each; while GTC and Sinapalo on Rota have 36 each.
At Kagman High School, 190 students are expected to receive their diplomas
during commencement exercises on June 5.
Marianas High School has over 250 senior students while Saipan Southern
High School has 180.
Hopwood and Chacha Oceanview Junior High Schools will promote 750 students
this school year.
