Ngerbeched wins Game 3 to stay alive

By Nazario Rodriguez Jr.
Horizon news staff

Ngerbeched came from behind to edge Palau Community College (PCC) Mesekiu, 10-9, in Game Three last night and stayed alive in the semifinals of the 2007 Palau Major League.
But PCC still leads the best-of-five series at 2-1 and could seize the first championship berth with a victory in Game Four when the two teams resume play tomorrow night.
PCC was leading 7-3 at the bottom of fifth inning before Ngerbeched orchestrated a stunning late rally before another big crowd at the Asahi Field.
PCC won Game One, 5-3, and Game Two, 6-4.
Kayangel and Airai are currently tied at 1-1 in the other semifinal encounter.
The K-Angels prevailed in Game One of their best-of-five series, 7-3, last Saturday May 5 while the Aces rallied back with a 13-7 victory in Game Two on Tuesday May 8.
