education off-island.
There are 24 incumbent members of the Youth Congress.
A graduating youth senator can continue to serve the balance of his term.
Of the 11 graduating members, four are from Marianas High Schoo l
Juan Pinaula, Leangie Sablan, Mark Nuique and Naomi Sablan.
The other graduating members are Dwayne Davis of Saipan Southern High

Carmel School, Henry Chan of Saipan International School, and Seung Hwan
Oh of Northern Marianas Academy.
Deleon Guerrero, in an interview yesterday, said he will continue to serve
until he leaves for the states.
He said he plans to enroll at Boise State University in Idaho.
He said before he leaves, he will make sure that important issues are
addressed by the Youth Congress such as the resolution on the pozzolan
issue which was narrowly rejected by youth senators on Saturday.
The Youth Congress also voted for a waiver of the $25 honorarium granted
to each member.
Deleon Guerrero said this was the most important measure they passed under
his leadership.
We also had a successful youth summit and we helped increase awareness
about the functions and importance of the Youth Congress, he told
Variety.
Deleon Guerrero has served two terms a youth senator.
