From Arizona, meet the class of 2007

PHOENIX — These graduates are examples of hard work, unselfishness, and truly believing in themselves. Their dreams and goals that they had set for themselves will soon become a reality. Throughout the years, they surrounded themselves in an environment of great friends and loving families, which are just some of the key ingredients, needed to succeed and to keep grounded in this hurried pace of modern technology.
We, in Arizona are proud to present to you, THE CLASS OF 2007.
Arizona State University, Tempe Campus:
• Jung Chul (Jayce) Kim, son of, Young Chun Kim and In Sun Hwang, Cum Laude, graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Advertising and International Business from the W.P. Carey School of Business in May 2007. He is a member of UNKES, an upcoming and popular band performing at the Red Owl in Tempe, Arizona.
• Herbert J. Sablan, son of Henry and Evelyn Sablan, graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Social Work with concentrations in Advocacy for Social Justice in May 2007. He is a care manager at the Florence Crittenton Independent Living. He is also a member of UNKES, an upcoming and popular band performing at the Red Owl in Tempe, Arizona.
• Norean Fritz Sablan, daughter of Norbert and Jean Fritz Sablan, graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Business and Asian Pacific American Studies in May 2007. She served as an intern under Madeline Ong-Sakata for the Asian Chamber of Commerce, Gov. Janet Napolitano’s Asian American Advisory Council, and the City of Phoenix, Pacific Rim Advisory Council from January through May 2007.
• Clarissa Aguon Tudela, daughter of Galo Tudela and Genoveva Aguon, graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Family Studies and Education in December 2006. She is a Head Start teacher at Echo Mountain School, Paradise Valley, Arizona and pursuing her Masters degree in Early Childhood Education
Arizona State University West Phoenix Campus:
• Thelma H. Lysak, daughter of Carl and Magarita Cabrera Hawkins, graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice & Criminology in December 2006. She is pursuing a second degree and career in Nursing because there is a great need for nurses today.
