This Saturday the Middle School Rugby playoffs will begin. All games will take place on Saturday in this one day knockout round.
The day will begin with the boys playing at 9:00 am. In the first of two games starting at 9:00 am the first seeded Santa Barbara team will take on the eighth seeded Bishop 3 team. In the second game at 9:00 am the second seeded Southern Christian Academy will take on the seventh seeded Bishop 2 team.
Those two games will be followed by two more games at 9:20 am when the third seeded Bishop 1 team takes on the sixth seeded St. Francis 2 team. And in the second game at 9:20 am the fourth seeded St. Francis 1 team will take on the fifth seed in St. John’s.
After the opening boys games the girls will see their first action at 9:40 as the fifth seeded Bishop 2 team takes on the fourth seed in St. Paul in a “play-in” game to see who will join the other three teams in the knockout round.
Starting at 10:00 am the girls and boys will be playing at the same time with the boy’s semifinals getting started and the girls seeing their semifinals as well as the winner of the Bishop 2, St. Paul match will take on the top seeded St. Francis team. At 10:20 the girls second game will take place as the two and three seed go head to head when Bishop 1 takes on St. John’s.
The Shield and Bowl Final for each division will take place at 10:40 am. After Guam Women’s Rugby Sevens Match at 11:00am the Cup and Plate final for the girls will begin at 11:20 am. Following that will be the boy’s Cup and Plate final at 11:40.
