Palauan arrested for sexual assault in Hawaii

A news article from HawaiiChannel.com said that police arrested a Palauan national for allegedly assaulting a toddler.
The news article said that the Shane Ngirmidol, 32 was arrested by the police and the suspect was described as a homeless man that frequents Kalihi neighborhood which is not far from Kaiulani Elementary School.
According to the article, the police said the little girl was playing outside her home when the suspect "lured her into a tool shed and sexually assaulted her."
The article further stated that after the incident the man reportedly gave the little girl a small amount of money and let her go.
The child was treated at Kapiolani Women and Children Center's sex abuse treatment center, the news item said.
The news item added that the suspect has a criminal history that includes assault and criminal property damage.
