PSA willing to conduct swimming practice for all States for Belau Games

The Palau Swimming Association (PSA) is accepting any interested team for the Belau Games to practice with national coach Tina Shima, who is conducting swim camp at the National Pool in Meyuns.
The camp started last week among kids (4-11 years old) with sessions from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.; 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The sessions are held only every Tuesday and Thursday.
Shima said that the last session of the is reserved for practice that includes techniques and basics of the sports and is open also for adults.
Meanwhile, the PSA in cooperation with the Palau National Olympic Committee (PNOC) and Palau Pacific Resort is will hold an open water swimming event this coming Thursday May 17 at the PPR Beach.
Five events will be contested -- 250 meters, 500 meters, one kilometer and 1.5 kilometer.
