Vote wisely

THE timing is right now for all CNMI retirees to start considering who to vote this coming November. It is absolutely correct to select who are the ones that can stand up and protect your retirement rights and benefits now and in the future.
Quiz every candidate to check where they stand on issues affecting your precious retirement rights and benefits. Do not hesitate to ask questions in a direct manner. When talking to candidates, look at them in the eyes, not their mouths. When they are answering your questions, listen intently and quietly. And after they have finished answering your questions, exercise your personal right to remain silent, be quiet, listen more, and talk less. Do this to protect your secret ballot and your right to vote under the CNMI Constitution.
Whether many apples will be falling down or not this coming election, it will be up to the voters to make the final decision. In other words, it’s better to ask questions during a meeting than to ask questions after a meeting is over. Do not run into the jungle and hide in the dark because you have many complains and you are afraid to say them out. State your complaints under the bright light, not inside a dark jungle that is spooky.
Now let me introduce to you a candidate that can do the job for your retirement protection. His name is Mr. Joseph C. Reyes, a private entrepreneur, running for the House of Representatives in Precinct 1 this coming November.
Mr. Joseph C. Reyes is one of the many right candidates that can best represent all government retirees now and in the future. He’s a former chairman of the Board of Directors of the Retirement Fund Office. He’s a former chairman of the GOP. He’s a former serviceman of the U.S. Army. And presently, he’s very active in business enterprises and community civic affairs.
See you all next week for more ice cream, candies and cookies.
