Tropical depression moving away

TROPICAL Depression 02W continues on its westward track away from the southern area of Guam at 12 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.
As of 2 p.m. yesterday, there were no warnings or advisories for Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
The system was centered at latitude 8.3 degrees north and longitude 140.3 degrees east.
This puts the system at 170 miles east-southeast of Yap, 100 miles south of Fais, and 120 miles south-southeast of Ulithi.
NWS issued a tropical storm warning for Yap and Ngulu at 2 p.m. yesterday and a tropical storm watch for Koror and Kayangel.
