PRESTIGE Automobiles, which
has added the Subaru line to its dealership, is opening a new Subaru showroom
today at 10 a.m.
The grand opening activities for the new showroom, located along Marine
Corps Drive across from Ben Franklin, will take place throughout the weekend
with doors opening from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10
a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Customers can enjoy food, drinks, and prizes throughout the day. In addition,
every customer who purchases any new Subaru will receive a Continental
Airlines roundtrip ticket to Cairns, Manila, Hong Kong, Bali, or Japan.
People who attend the grand opening can take advantage of big rebates
on all Subaru models. Government of Guam Employees Federal Credit Union
will likewise be present all three days for on-the-spot approval and rates
as low as 3.99 percent.
Anyone who test drives a Subaru will be automatically eligible to win
a roundtrip ticket for two to Manila, with the drawing set for Sunday
at 3 p.m.
Prestige Automobiles, who is the official BMW importer for Guam, the Northern
Mariana Islands and all of Micronesia, is also the islands Land
Rover dealer.
According to the company, adding Subaru to its current line of premium
brands will be a milestone in the islands history of automobile
dealerships.
The showroom will feature the Subaru Forester, which was given the highest
rating for rear-end collisions by the Insurance Institute for Highway
Safety and was Car and Driver Magazines Best Small SUV for three
years and running.
The Subaru Impreza will also be featured at the Tamuning showroom. The
Impreza is Subarus rally-heritage car that received the highest
possible crash-test ratings by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
The WRX model was recently named one of the top 20 greatest cars of the
past 20 years by Automobile Magazine.
