A COUPLE from Dededo was arrested and charged in the Superior Court of Guam over the weekend for alleged sexual assault and abuse of minors.
Scotdy P.C. Aguon was arrested with Remy Arriola Muna after officials at the schools the minors attend told police of the abuses.
Aguon, 36, who was convicted of assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct, was charged with three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct as a first-degree felony, two counts of child abuse as a misdemeanor, and two counts of assault as a misdemeanor.
Muna, 32, was charged with two counts of child abuse as a third-degree felony and two counts of family violence as a third-degree felony.
Guam Police Department officers talked with the minor victims, one of them complained that she was sexually molested by Aguon when she was 8 years old.
The victim reported that there were times when Aguon would force her to touch his private parts. That was when Muna caught Aguon touching the minor.
The other victim told police that between April 28 and 30, 2007, Muna told her to look for a hammer. He then instructed her to put both of her hands on the floor while he hit the minors’ hand with a hammer, causing significant swelling.
The victim was not able to go to school for several days because of the injury.
The victims also reported that one of them got a black eye on May 5, 2007 after Aguon, who was then intoxicated, told them to beat each other up. They were also told by Aguon not to tell anyone about the incident.
On another occasion, Muna put a lighted cigarette lighter to the palm of the hand of one of the minors. He admitted that he hammered the minors’ hands. She also admitted that she witnessed Aguon instructing the minors to beat each other.
Aside from the 1993 conviction of assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct, Aguon was also convicted in the Superior Court of Guam in 1997 for improper use of license plates.
In May 1991, he was convicted for driving while under the influence of alcohol.
2 men in sexual assaults
In other news, two male individuals were charged with criminal sexual conduct for molesting minors in separate incidents.
Junior Kite Kanemoto, 18, was charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct as a second-degree felony and jurisdiction over an adult as a misdemeanor.
A magistrate complaint stated that Kanemoto reportedly had consensual sex with a student who skipped a school to hang out with him in his Barrigada residence.
In a separate case, two minors and another female individual told police that Oster Mach Ludwig, 47, repeatedly molested them sexually on several occasions.
One of the victims stated that once, she confronted Ludwig and he responded: “Sorry. It wasn’t him; it was the beer”.
Ludwig was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct as a first-degree felony and two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct as first-degree felony.
