THE Guam Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division will display this week the stolen items found in a raided Astumbo, Dededo home last month.
GPD public information officer Allan Guzman advised residents who were victims of a burglary to stop by their office this week to see if any of the stolen items recovered belonged to them.
“The items will be on display in Tiyan (on Central Avenue) in the GPD office near the Records and ID section,” Guzman said.
Residents are asked to bring with them a police report documenting the crime that took place, a form of identification, receipts and pictures showing the items in question.
The items will be on display this week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call GPD at 475-8473.
Police continue to investigate the April 19 raid that netted stolen items, illegal drugs, and dogs.
The owners of the Astumbo residence, Raymond I. Duenas, 33, and Lourdes Castro Duenas, face charges of theft by receiving stolen property as a second-degree felony and theft by receiving stolen property as a third-degree felony. Originally, the two faced a charge of possession of a schedule two controlled substance but the local court dropped this.
