TheE Agro-Tourism Project of the Taiwan Technical Mission (TTM) and the Bureau of Agriculture (BOA) are conducting a local food demonstration today at the Ngarachamayong Cultural Center.
Registration starts at 9 a.m. for the five-hour activity with the aim of showcasing local food products and how to improve their style of preparations to help attract more tourists to come to Palau.
Taiwan Ambassador to Palau Mathew S. Lee and Minister of Resources and Development Fritz Koshiba will deliver messages before the start of the presentation of prepared local food from the representatives of Aimeliik and Ngatpang States.
Travel agencies are invited to grace the occasion and join the open forum.
The Agro-Tourism Project was launched during a similar local food demonstration on Feb. 7 this year at the Nekken Farm in Aimeliik.
Travel agencies as well as most of the Governors have thrown their full support for this effort.
