Charges vs. Ngirmidol dropped

The charges against the Palauan reportedly arrested for sexually assaulting a girl was released and charges were dropped against him.
According to a news article from HawaiiChannel.com , Shane Ngirmidol, 32 pleaded not guilty.
The article said , police however dismissed the charges against him to look for more evidence.
Earlier , police arrested a Palauan national for allegedly assaulting a toddler.
Ngirmidol, was described as a homeless man that frequents Kalihi neighborhood which is not far from Kaiulani Elementary School.
According to the article, the police said the little girl was playing outside her home when the suspect "lured her into a tool shed and sexually assaulted her."
The article further stated that after the incident the man reportedly gave the little girl a small amount of money and let her go.
The child was treated at Kapiolani Women and Children Center's sex abuse treatment center, the news item said.
