Lawmaker asks new CUC board to open payment center in Kagman

REPRESENTATIVE Lorenzo I Deleon Guerrero is asking the new Commonwealth Utilities Corp. board to consider opening a CUC payment center in Kagman.

He said CUC’s customer service should be expanded to reach clients in remote villages.

“It would be more convenient for [Kagman customers] if they had a payment center within their area,” he added.

A payment center in Kagman would also serve CUC customers in the Capital Hill and other nearby areas, he said.

Deleon Guerrero also noted the difficulties related to finding parking space at CUC’s central office in Dandan.

CUC, he added, should not open a payment center in Garapan because the business district is now “congested.”

But establishing a payment center in a remote area like Kagman should be fairly inexpensive and very beneficial to CUC customers, Deleon Guerrero said.
