Quarter pound of meth, $11K seized from Guam woman

HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — A traffic stop on Sunday night for a defective license plate light resulted in the arrest of Susan O’Connor Mata, 49, of Dededo.

Court documents filed Tuesday state that about a quarter pound of methamphetamine and $11,446 in cash were found during the traffic stop.

When Guam Police Department patrol officers conducted the traffic stop of a black Mitsubishi Outlander in Astumbo, they said Mata “appeared nervous” and was unable to provide police with identification.

GPD spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia said the woman consented to a search and was found in possession of Schedule I and Schedule II controlled substances and cash.

Mata was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a Schedule II controlled substance; and illegal possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with the intent to distribute." alt="" width="1" height="1" />
