Former Rep. Cinta Kaipat, who was appointed by the governor to the Marianas Visitors Authority board, will be confirmed during the next Senate session.

In an interview, Reyes thanked Gov. Ralph D.L.G. Torres for believing in him, adding that he looks forward to doing his best to serve the board.

Reyes and Balajadia are civil engineers.

A former Department of Public Works secretary, Balajadia said she will do her best to make sure that all practicing engineers in the CNMI are licensed.

“I thanked the governor for his confidence in me,” she added. “I will do my best to serve the board and the community.”

Dela Cruz said she is grateful to the Senate for allowing her to serve on the scholarship board for the second time.

“The scholarship program is vital to our community as this is the government’s investment in the future of the CNMI. Ultimately, we would like to see our residents return home with the education they’ve gained and the invaluable work experience they’ve attained to work here in our beautiful commonwealth. Together, we can further improve our CNMI.”
