GMS concludes 8th Summer Academic Camp with fun

(Press Release) — Summer Academic Camp was fun at Green Meadow School. This four-week long Summer Academic Program ended on Aug. 4, 2018 at  the multi-purpose center. It featured Spin-A-Wheel and Jeopardy game to test the students’ gained knowledge on different academic subjects.

Spin-A-Wheel was played by two groups of preschool and kindergarten students, while  Jeopardy was played by elementary and middle school students. Not only did the students enjoy but the parents as well. The winners received cash prizes and gold medals.

Aside from joining challenging academic games, the students also performed choral reading to showcase their reading skills.

There was a project exhibit at both corners of the center. The creative projects were the products of the students throughout the summer academic camp.

It’s overwhelming to see landmark projects, original storybooks, a solar system, a plant flip chart, a framed pressed flower, kindergarten math & phonics crafts, and so much more.

“The children’s ability to show their talent with what they have learned during their class sessions is a plus!” said Ms. Alexandra Villagomez, a GMS parent.

“Both parents and students enjoyed the challenging academic event,” added Ms. Crystal Garcia.

Mrs. Milagros Songcuan, principal of Green Meadow School, thanked the parents’ partnership with the school for the success of every student enrolled in GMS.
