Guam chamber elects 7 to board

HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — The Guam Chamber of Commerce elected seven to its 2019 board of directors during its annual membership meeting Wednesday at the Sheraton Laguna Guam Resort.

The five voting directors elected to serve a three-year term are:

  • • Bobby Shringi, the highest vote-getter in the election, is Moylan’s Insurance Underwriters’ manager for marketing and sales for Guam and the outer regions;
  • • Edward G. Untalan, senior vice president for Guam and the Northern Marianas and region manager at First Hawaiian Bank;
  • • Christine Baleto, master franchisee, Pacific Froots;
  • • Maureen Maratita, publisher, Glimpses of Guam; and
  • • Milton K. Morinaga, managing director, P.H.R. Ken Micronesia.

The two alternate directors elected to serve a one-year term are Marie N. Guerrero, chief executive officer and general manager of Three Squares Guam and Terraza at Puntan Dos Amantes; and Juan Carlos Benitez, president and owner, Washington Pacific Economic Development Group.
