The solar lamps were  manufactured in China and were purchased by IT&E for $100,000.

They will be turned over to the American Red Cross for distribution.

Hocog thanked IT&E for the donation, saying the solar lamps will help residents who don’t have power yet in their houses.

“We are all in this challenge together and I can’t thank the donors enough for their generosity that will help make our community whole again despite the hardships caused by Typhoon Yutu — we will all continue to work to move forward,” Hocog said.
