Red Cross service center at Marianas Business Plaza will close on Sunday

(Press Release) — The American Red Cross has been offering emergency financial assistance on Saipan to families who have had catastrophic or major damage to their homes over the past 30 days.

Red Cross service centers have been open in Tanapag, Kagman, San Vicente and now in Susupe at the Marianas Business Plaza.

Assistance has been provided to more than 3,000 families through this process. The goal has been to deliver bridge financial assistance, so families can meet emergency needs for food, water, clothing, fuel and other critical expenses.

We encourage anyone with major home damage from Typhoon Yutu to come to the service center by Sunday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m. to meet with a Red Cross caseworker.

For more information, please stay tuned to local radio broadcasts and social media. Required documents need to include: ID as proof of residence (examples: official photo ID, lot number, phone and CUC bill, rental or lease agreement, pictures of household damage).
