She said they will offer health screening and hair grooming to community members.

In December, the group  and the Saipan Fil-American Lions Club conducted a “Feed the Hungry” program for parishioners and members of the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine.

The hospitality program, Cunanan said, is one of their most vital community outreach functions.

“We are forever grateful to the participating groups and healthcare providers,” she added.

Among the participants are healthcare providers from the Hardt Eye & Diabetes Education Center, the Northern Marianas College Nursing Club, the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation-Division of Public Health-Immunization Program, the HIV/STD Prevention Program, the Non-Communicable Disease Bureau, and the Comprehensive Cancer Control Program.

The event is also being supported by the Saipan Fil-American Lions Club, Kautz Glass and Saipan Ice & Water.

The hairdresser teams are from Genoveva’s Hair Power Inc., Jigz Barber Shop & Beauty Salon, Nila’s Salon, Mary’s Beauty Salon I & II, Paradise Beauty Salon and Trends Beauty Salon.

Cunanan is also thankful to the food donors: Shirley’s Coffee Shop, D’ Elegance Restaurant, Jhems Restaurant, Sunny Side Café & Bakery, Gold Ribbon Bakeshop & Restaurant, Barney’s Pizza & Catering Services, Shirley’s Catering, MJ Catering, Blue Haus, Seaside Mart, Mr. and Mrs. Angelita Buniag, Mr. and Mrs. Luis Kapileo, and Neth Romero..

Cunanan also expressed her appreciation to the Tanapag Parish Council headed by William Lieto for collaborating  in the implementation of the program.
