15 former Tinian Dynasty workers seek $3.4M in damages

FIFTEEN former Tinian Dynasty workers are seeking a total of $3.4 million in general and punitive damages from Hong Kong Entertainment (Overseas) Investment Ltd. and Mega Stars Overseas Ltd., owners and management of the defunct casino-hotel.

Through their legal counsel, Samuel Mok, the 15 workers indicated the exact amount of compensatory general and punitive damages they are seeking after  District Court for the NMI Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona directed them to do so. She also ordered the workers to file their witness and exhibit lists.

Judge Manglona scheduled the default judgment hearing for Feb. 14, 2019.

The plaintiffs are alleging that the owners and management of Tinian Dynasty lied to them about their immigration status.

They are also alleging fraudulent concealment, negligent misrepresentation, constructive fraud, and wrongful termination.
