2nd robbery reported on Guam Friday night

HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — A robbery occurred involving a masked and armed man less than half an hour before the robbery at a store on Macheche Avenue in Dededo Friday evening.

Police stated the first robbery happened around 9:21 p.m. at Papa John’s pizza shop in Mangilao.

At 9:45 p.m. Friday, a man who was also armed with a rifle robbed Loco Mart on Macheche Avenue and demanded all of the cash from the register.

The suspect at the Papa John’s incident also involved a masked man who was armed with a rifle who entered the establishment and demanded money.

Fearful for their safety, Papa John’s employees secured themselves in the kitchen and emerged when the suspect fled, Guam Police Department spokesman Sgt. Paul Tapao stated.

The suspect is described as possibly local with a white shirt covering his face, slim to medium build and was wearing a tan, long-sleeved shirt.
