Governor re-nominates Tee Abraham, nominates Jake Maratita to Civil Service Commission

GOVERNOR Ralph DLG Torres on Monday nominated Jake U. Maratita and re-nominated Felicitas “Tee” Abraham to the Civil Service Commission.

In a letter to Senate President Victor B. Hocog, the governor said he and Lt. Gov. Arnold I. Palacios are confident that Abraham will continue to devote her time and effort to carrying out the mandate of the commission.

The current chair of the Civil Service Commission, Abraham, if confirmed, will serve a term of four years expiring concurrently with the term of the governor.

Maratita will serve a term that ends on Jan. 9, 2025.

The governor told the Senate president that all requirements will be submitted to Hocog’s office as soon as they become available.

The chairman of the Senate Committee on Executive Appointment & Governmental Investigation, Sen. Frank Q. Cruz, said he would take action as soon as the Senate president forwarded him the nominations.

Cruz said all nominations will be thoroughly and diligently dealt with.
