Club president Greg Borja said the grand prize is a brand new 2019 Mazda or $10,000 cash. The other major prizes are $3,000, $2,000, $1,000, and $500 cash. There will also be door prizes.

Triple J Motor is the event’s primary sponsor.

Las Vegas Night was supposed to be held on Nov. 17, 2018 at Saipan World Resort, but it was rescheduled after Typhoon Yutu hit the island in October, damaging the hotel, among other buildings, facilities and homes.

Borja said they are also planning to hold a Texas Hold’em tournament in May.

The funds raised from such activities will help finance the club’s exchange student program with Japan as well as Saipan’s first accessible playground at Sugar King Park, he added.

The project will be implemented in collaboration with the Saipan mayor’s office,  Borja said.
