In separate letters to Senate President Victor B. Hocog, the governor said he is pleased to re-nominate former Sen. Pete P. Reyes, Kimberlyn King-Hinds and Roman Tudela to the Commonwealth Ports Authority board of directors, and Dr. Tiffany Lynn Willis to the Health Care Professions Licensing Board to represent health care professionals.

Their reappointments require the advice and consent of the Senate.

If confirmed, Reyes, King-Hinds and Tudela will each serve a four-year term that will expire in 2023 while Willis’ new term will expire in 2022.

The governor said he and Lt. Gov. Arnold I. Palacios are confident in the leadership of Reyes, King-Hinds, Tudela and Willis to continue carrying out the functions and mandates of their respective agencies.

In another letter to Hocog and Speaker Blas Jonathan Attao, the governor certified a $65,000 annual salary for Special Assistant for Finance and Audit David DLG Atalig and a $61,000 annual salary for Assistant Attorney General Jose Mafnas Jr.

Their salaries are in excess of the $50,000 cap set by the Compensation Adjustment Act which also allows the governor to waive the salary ceiling.
