Rotary welcomes another new member

THE Rotary Club of Saipan on Tuesday welcomed another new member, Ryan Yulo, an audit manager of Ernst & Young CNMI.

The fourth new member accepted to the club this month, he was sponsored by club president-elect Marcia Ayuyu.

“Thank you for inviting me to join,” Yulo said, adding that he wanted to be part of the club because “I believe in its mission and vision” for the community.

Club president Greg Borja, who administered the oath of membership to Yulo, said the new Rotarian will begin a great adventure in leadership and friendship while serving the community and the people.

“You have been invited…and the Rotary Club of Saipan has accepted you as a person of good character and high ethical standard,” Borja told Yulo.

He encouraged Yulo to learn more about the Rotary Club, and to strengthen his leadership and community skills by actively participating in the activities of the club, including attending weekly meetings, social events and service projects.

Borja said the club and its district office will help enhance and expand the professional and personal skill of its members.

The other new Rotarians who were accepted this month were Joann Aquino, the Saipan mayor’s office field operations director; Das Krishnan, food and beverage director of Fiesta Resort & Spa; and Wendell Posadas, instructor at Northern Marianas Trades Institute.
