“This will improve the visibility of the roads,” said Camacho, who just finished painting murals on some sidewalk walls in Tanapag.

As for the repainting program, he said he is working with the Department of Public Works.

“We will be adding reflectors to all concrete poles starting next week,” he added as he cautions motorists to drive safely as certain lanes will be closed.

“My office and I want to do a project that benefits our community despite our allocations being cut and the current economic situation,” Camacho said.

He said safety and beautification efforts go a long way for everyone.

Camacho has also started painting a new mural, which will feature a deer or binadu.

He said the mural is very significant not only because he graduated from Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School, the “Home of the Binadu,” but also because he represents Precinct 4.

“The community has been a family to me so I will continue working hard for my family,” he added.
