DPS responds to 58 calls this past weekend

(DPS) — This past weekend the CNMI Department of Public Safety responded to 58 calls on Saipan and made four arrests.

From 11 p.m. on Friday, May 17, through 11 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, a 48-hour period, DPS responded to and were dispatched to 58 different 911 calls which include assault and battery, auto related incident, burglary, cultivation, domestic dispute, disturbing the peace, driving under the influence, fire, injured person, reckless driving and theft.

The three most reported to villages over the weekend include the villages of Chalan Kanoa, Dandan and Garapan.

DPS encourages the public to do the right thing and not to hesitate when calling 911. Dispatchers and officers are standing by to ensure the safety and well-being of the public.
