Lions attend two-day leadership training

THE Lions Clubs International District 204 conducted its first ever two-day Regional Lions Leadership Institute training last week in the Azucena Hall of Fiesta Resort and Spa.

Annamae Adaza, Saipan Fil-Am Lions Club president and Region 2 chairperson, said the participants were 58 members of the various Lions Clubs on Saipan.

She said the training focused on Lions fundamentals and organizational chart, working in teams, diversity, goal-setting, time management, public speaking, personal mission statement, member motivations, local issues and opportunities.

“We need this kind of training as the things that we’ve learned are applicable to our daily lives,” Adaza said.

She expressed appreciation to Guam Lions Region 1 chair Loisa Cabuhat, zone chair Rosie Fejeran, past district governor and district administrator Monito Co, cabinet treasurer Ronald Hidalgo and past district governor Emelio Uy for their assistance and generosity.

Adaza said district governor Danny Cruz wanted to hold the training on Saipan.
