FMS principal James Sablan said the promoted students, despite the hardships they went through because of Typhoon Yutu, are ready for high school.

“I also told them to thank their parents, teachers and support staff for helping them reach the next part of their journey,” Sablan said in an interview.

He likewise expressed appreciation to the teachers for their hard work, especially during the double-session classes.

School vice principal Carla Sablan said the students’ promotion capped the hard work of the teachers, school support staff and the students. “They have been looking forward to this event to celebrate their accomplishments,” she added.

This year’s class valedictorian is Ellala Jennifer Limoico while Jasmine Jaylyn John is the salutatorian.

Limoico and John thanked their teachers for helping them complete middle school.

Limoico said they faced the challenges head on. “We have learned, stressed, laughed and matured together. We have all managed and made it to our goal,” she added.
