Sugar Dock beach debris-free again

SUGAR Dock Beach is debris-free once again, community volunteer Max Aguon said.

It took him and other volunteers several days during the weekends to remove marine debris in the area and restore the beach to its previous “pristine” condition.

“We want this beach to be environmentally clean for the safety of the people,” Aguon said as he thanked the other volunteers for their help: Shane Ayuyu, Charn Aldan Akiki Alexander, Ray Matagolai, Jose Cabrera, Joe Tamping Kiyu and Gerry Agulto.

Aguon said he and his group will be expanding their cleanup drive to the Laly 4 and San Antonio beach areas.

He is also thankful to DPA Car Mart for donating a pickup truck that he uses in cleanup activities.

U.S. Congressman Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan, Rep. Tina Sablan and House Floor Leader John Paul Sablan have also been very supportive, Aguon said.
