Both teams started off equally matched fighting for the possession with back and forth action exchanges at a high pace.

But as the game hit the 20 minute mark, Topnotch started to break down THFC’s line of defense creating several shot opportunities.

After three more minutes of continuous pressure, Topnotch moved deep to their opponents’ territory where Mamoko Halstead capitalized firing the first goal of the day at the 23rd mark.

Mamoko’s goal seemed to have sparked the team’s momentum as they quickly reacted after the reset turning defense into offense with Mamoko at the frontline connecting her second goal just a minute later to put Topnotch at a safe 2-0 distance.

THFC give it their all attacking from each end of the field but could only get so close before Topnotch disrupted their run sending the ball out of bounds to set up their defense properly.

Although THFC’s aggressive approach kept Topnotch from cooking up another attack, they could not find redemption remaining scoreless for the rest of the second half settling for the defeat against Topnotch 2-0.
